A shared reel is a link. Whoever opens it needs a web browser and nothing else — no app, no account, no sign-up wall. That matters more than it sounds when the audience is grandparents.

It plays at full resolution rather than the compressed version a messaging app would produce, which is usually the difference between being able to follow the play and not.

And for your athlete

You can leave notes on specific moments, so feedback happens on the sofa at their pace instead of in the car on the way home. Some families find that alone is worth more than the reel.
